Lionsgate Academy was birthed in 2005 when Pastor Annwen and I visited family in Israel. While walking through Jerusalem we came upon a city gate with two lion figures mounted above. I asked a local business owner what's the significance of this gate and he shared that this gate is the entrance by which all the kings who conquered Jerusalem could enter the city. Pastor Annwen, being Israeli, said this gate is called The Lions Gate. At that moment the Holy Spirit began to speak to us about raising up a generation of believers built up by the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. And strengthened to go into the mission field and the marketplace carrying the Gospel into all the world.
